It is both my honor and pleasure

Congress of the Asia-Pacific
Academy of Ophthalmology (APAO),
held in conjunction with the
49th PERDAMI, or the Indonesian
Ophthalmologists Association
(IOA), Annual Meeting at Bali
Nusa Dua Convention Center,
Indonesia, from February 22 to
25, 2024. |

This year, the APAO
2024 Congress is expected to feature over 800
internationally recognized speakers presenting their
latest work and scientific innovations in the major
ophthalmic subspecialties. The congress is expected to
have an attendance of over 5,000 delegates.
On behalf of APAO and
our Member Societies, I would like to express our
deepest heartfelt thanks to Dr Mohamad Sidik, APAO 2024
Congress President, and our colleagues at the IOA, for
organizing this distinctive meeting. I would also like
to convey our deepest gratitude to Prof Dennis Lam, APAO
2024 Scientific Program Committee (SPC) Chair and the
SPC members, for their dedication and hard work, without
which we would not be able to put together such an
exceptionally educational and enjoyable scientific
program.
In addition, we are
truly grateful for your participation that has made all
the preparatory efforts for this congress worthwhile.
