Welcome Message
From APAO 2024 Scientific Program Committee Chair

  Issue 4 - August 2023

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

On behalf of the Asia-Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology (APAO) and the Scientific Program Committee, it is my honor and pleasure to welcome you to the APAO 2024 Congress in Bali.

The congress covers various aspects of ophthalmology, from the basic, intermediate, and advanced skills to the prevailing hot topics. Under the theme of “Beyond All Limits,” the APAO 2024 Congress is expected to feature about 800 international renowned speakers presenting the latest discoveries and ideas in various ophthalmic subspecialties, including visual sciences and clinical ophthalmology.

The APAO 2024 Congress provides an excellent showcase for world-renowned ophthalmic professionals to share their expertise and experience with clinicians, ophthalmic specialists, eye surgeons, and researchers from the Asia-Pacific region and globally. With a significant number of leading experts from across the globe speaking at this most important ophthalmology meeting in the Asia-Pacific region and beyond, participants are expected to gain insight on the latest scientific innovations, emerging trends of surgical techniques and treatments, as well as to meet like-minded peers and develop lifelong friendships.

I believe it would be great to take this opportunity to network and collaborate, and at the same time, to take advantage of all that Bali has to offer. I wish you all a wonderful stay in Bali and I look forward to seeing you in February 2024!

With best regards,

Prof Dennis LAM
