Friends and Colleagues,
On behalf of the Asia-Pacific
Academy of Ophthalmology (APAO)
and the Scientific Program
Committee, it is my honor and
pleasure to welcome you to the
APAO 2024 Congress in Bali.
The congress covers
various aspects of
ophthalmology, from the basic,
intermediate, and advanced
skills to the prevailing hot
topics. Under the theme of
“Beyond All Limits,” the APAO
2024 Congress is expected to
feature about 800 international
renowned speakers presenting the
latest discoveries and ideas in
various ophthalmic
subspecialties, including visual
sciences and clinical
ophthalmology. |
The APAO 2024
Congress provides an excellent showcase for
world-renowned ophthalmic professionals to share their
expertise and experience with clinicians, ophthalmic
specialists, eye surgeons, and researchers from the
Asia-Pacific region and globally. With a significant
number of leading experts from across the globe speaking
at this most important ophthalmology meeting in the
Asia-Pacific region and beyond, participants are
expected to gain insight on the latest scientific
innovations, emerging trends of surgical techniques and
treatments, as well as to meet like-minded peers and
develop lifelong friendships.
I believe it would be
great to take this opportunity to network and
collaborate, and at the same time, to take advantage of
all that Bali has to offer. I wish you all a wonderful

The APAO provides two
types of Travel Grants: the Prof. Yasuo Tano Travel
Grants and the Young Ophthalmologists (YO) Travel
Grants. These grants aim to provide financial support
while also giving you the chance to expand your
knowledge and network with leading experts in the
field.
To apply for these grants,
simply fill out the online application on the
