Maldives Ophthalmology Society.

The Maldives Ophthalmology
Society (MOS) was officially
established in 2019 as the
professional organization
representing Maldivian
ophthalmologists and eye health care
professionals.
Guided by its primary mission to
enhance eye health, MOS is dedicated
to promoting high-quality eye care
services across the Maldives.
Through strategic collaboration with
government agencies, MOS actively
advances and develops comprehensive
eye care initiatives nationwide.
In recent years, MOS has
successfully organized numerous
conferences and Continuing Medical
Education (CME) programs,
contributing to the professional
growth of eye care providers.
Additionally, MOS plays a pivotal
role in facilitating eye health
research, conducting nationwide
screening programs, and raising
public awareness about the
importance of eye health and the
prevention of blindness. |

 The
Maldives Ophthalmology Society (MOS)
is honored to join APAO as an
Associate Member.
Our goal is to strengthen
collaborations and learn from the
expertise of APAO and its member
societies to enhance eye care
services in the Maldives. Our
decision to join stems from
successful past collaborations in
knowledge exchange and training
programs. Together, we aim to
advance ophthalmic education, drive
research, and improve access to
quality eye care.
The Maldives faces unique
challenges, such as managing ocular
health in remote island communities.
Our dedication to preserving vision
aligns with the Maldives' renowned
pristine natural beauty and vibrant
culture.

come-and-coming ophthalmologists attending the 40th APAO
Congress in New Delhi. After careful consideration of a
highly competitive pool of applications, our

in India will be granted US$300 to support their travel

Exhibition will run for three days from April 3
to 5, and the
Exhibitor Manual
has been published online.
This manual
contains essential information, including
details on the congress venue, floor plan,
exhibition timetable, key regulations, and more.
All exhibitors are encouraged to read the manual
thoroughly to ensure smooth and successful
participation. |
