As a highlight of the annual congress, the five recipients of our Named Awards will share their insights into subjects of their expertise during the APAO Plenary Session on April 3, from 15:00 to 17:00. Under the theme “Celebrating Excellence in Ophthalmology: APAO 2025 Award Lectures”, the session will cover the following topics:

At the APAO 2025 Congress, we will celebrate the 13^th LDP Class as they present their Graduating Projects on April 5, 2025. These 19 participants will showcase innovative initiatives in patient care, education, research, advocacy, and leadership. LDP Alumni Reception

The LDP Standing Committee invites all alumni and friends to join the LDP Alumni Reception, a special gathering designed for networking and sharing insights. This event will include inspiring speeches from honored guests and the graduation ceremony for the LDP Class XIII (2024-2025) participants.

As announced in the October issue, the results of abstract submissions have been e-mailed to all submitters. Authors can also check the results by logging in to the APAO Scientific Portal. 

For those who have yet to confirm participation in the Congress, we urge you to do so via the Portal as soon as possible to secure your spot. 

If your abstract has been accepted and you wish it to appear in our Abstract Book, please confirm the result by January 10, 2025. In case you miss this editorial deadline, you are still welcome to join our scientific program, but we cannot guarantee your abstract will be included in the publication.

Time is running out! Early Bird Registration for APAO 2025 Congress and the Visa Supporting Documents Request Form Submission are both due by December 31, 2024.
