Orientation Class
The APAO Leadership Development Program (LDP) Class XV (2026–2027) attended their Orientation Class on February 5–6, 2026, during the APAO 2026 Congress in Hong Kong, China. Orientation sessions 1 and 2 introduced participants to the LDP and provided an overview of the program requirements and LDP project planning. Sessions 3 and 4 comprised an Insights Discovery workshop (Parts I & II) facilitated by Prof. Muhammad MOIN, and the orientation concluded with the featured World Café: Speed Mentoring session chaired by Dr. Helena Maria PRIOR FILIPE and Prof. Muhammad MOIN.

Master Class
The LDP Master Class was successfully held in Auckland, New Zealand, from 21–23 August 2026, bringing together 26 emerging ophthalmic leaders from 21 countries and territories across the Asia-Pacific region. Hosted in collaboration with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists (RANZCO), the three-day program featured interactive leadership workshops, faculty-led discussions, participant presentations, and scenario simulations, fostering leadership skills, strategic thinking, and regional collaboration. The local host also organized a range of networking activities, including a Cultural Hīkoi and a Hāngī experience, providing participants with an opportunity to immerse themselves in Māori culture while building friendships and strengthening professional connections in a warm and welcoming environment.

Graduating Class
The participants of the LDP Class XV will present their LDP projects and graduate during the APAO 2027 Congress, to be held in Singapore from 18–21 March 2027.
