The World EyeCon, established in 2024 by the Asia-Pacific Journal of Ophthalmology (APJO), aims to honor the most influential ophthalmologists and researchers globally who have helped shape the practice of ophthalmology. This year, 12 awardees were acknowledged at the Recognition Ceremony of the APAO 2026 Congress held in Hong Kong, China.
